Shahrukh given the entertainer he is and I must a shrewed mind too. He has found innovative ways to not only entertain but also to promote his team and make money or save money at the same time. I am sure he might have made money by signing deals of the like with Reebok for official merchandiser of the Kolkata KnightRiders team. He has spent lavishly to shoot the video of the KnightRiders anthem “Karbo re Jitbo re”. I heard he spent to the tune of Rs 1 crore for that.
Further the jersey and get of the team is great, nicely blended in golden and black colour. In terms of jersey and colour the Bangalore Royal Challenger’s ones are also good. Recently, they launched the first ReeboK KrightRiders store in kolkata. Of all the ads which comes for KnightRiders the one which has caught my attention is the “Villains ka millan”. Have you ever thought why it is special and may make you think if you get it. Yes, it may look like just another ad at the outset but it is not so. I feel it is more like a promotion of Nokia with backdrop of KnightRiders team. I am sure he made money in that along with the players involved in the ad. But the speciality is that he gets to promote his team without spending a penny for the ad. On the contrary he is making money. Check video of the ad below:

Right from the bidding process, Shahrukh has struck the right cord by lifting the Kolkata IPL team by much lesser sum from teams like Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai. I think SRK along with Juhi Chawla and her husband Jai Mehta just paid over $70 millions. Also, during the player bidding process he has picked up better players for much lesser sum. Thus his outages may much less then other owners. Well lately, his luck, god’s grace or the player’s and support staff’s hard work, whatever you say, KinghtRiders started to show results after the 4 match slump.
