Bangalorebeats.com Featured On “Bangalore Mirror”

October 2, 2007 – 1:14 pm

It gives me huge pleasure to let the readers of Bangalorebeats.com know that one of the articles on this blog “Bangalore Traffic, Human Angle” has featured on the “Bangalore Mirror” newspaper’s “blog talk” section today (02/10/2007). Two days earlier “Bangalore Mirror” asked my permission to use my blog on their newspaper and it did not take much time for me to grant them the permission. This blog is quite new and such quick recognization gives me the fodder that I am on the right track. I am also happy that it acts as a free promotion of my website when I myself not doing any promotion at the moment. Here is a link to that post:

Btw, I see that they have made little changes to the style and language I have used. Please leave a comment and let me know your thoughts.

  2. The Fires Within presented by Bosch Group at Chowdiah Hall on May 16 was simply ecstatic. This was truly a reflection of national or international integration. German multinational sponsored the programme while there were dancers rendering Bharatnatyam with Tamil verses from Subramnya Bharati, there was also a troupe breaking into rapturous Kathak chakkars in pristine white to the love poems of Mirza Ghalib and Tagore coming alive with his play Tasher Desh.

Kudos to Usha Venkateshwaran from Delhi who conceived the entire show and made it so different from other run-of-the-mill dance programmes something so beautiful to look for. We need to look forward to more such unique events.
