This was truly a reflection of national or international integration. German multinational sponsored the programme while there were dancers rendering Bharatnatyam with Tamil verses from Subramnya Bharati, there was also a troupe breaking into rapturous Kathak chakkars in pristine white to the love poems of Mirza Ghalib and Tagore coming alive with his play Tasher Desh. Kudos to Usha Venkateshwaran from Delhi who conceived the entire show and made it so different from other run-of-the-mill dance programmes something so beautiful to look for.
