@ MOHAN – From HAL airport take any bus for majestic (# 333, 331 etc) and get down at corporation and then head to market. From market board a bus for Bannerghatta ( # 364, 365 ). Also, you can avail daily pass.

@ Ananth – If you want to take the public transport, it is fine as there are many buses to and from Bannerghatta National Park. I suggest you to go for the volvo buses. I am not sure if the buses go via Jayanagar. However, you can catch them from Majestic(bus no 365) and cost around Rs 60 per person. The buses are very comfortable and overall good. However, if you have your won vehicle – you can look at that option too.
