Festivals Galore in Bangalore

Friday was a confluence of 4 festivals namely Holi, Milad-Un-Nabi, Good Friday and Navroz. Holi or the festival of colours celebrated mainly by Hindus, Muslims offered Namaz in mosques on Prophet Mohammad’s birthday, Christians observed good friday with special prayers and the parsis celebrated Navroz – the parsi new year. It is very rare that 4 festivals fall on the same day and could be god’s message to live in harmony.
