Mallika Sherawat Hot Dress Controversy

Some outfit in Tamil Nadu has again started a hue and cry over a dress worn by actress Mallika Sherawat at the during the music release of Dasavataram. The event was attended by Kamal Hassan, Jackie Chan, Amitabh Bachchan and even Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. Their claim is that the performance by Mallika Sherawat in that attaire has hurt the sentiment of Tamil Nadu. The Hindu Makkal Kachi, went to file a complaint but the cops got it right this time. They have refused to register a complaint saying the dress code cannot be imposed upon anyone and doesn’t constitute an offence.

The complaint interestingly stated that the actress, by wearing a mini skirt and exposing her back, had caused ‘mental agony to the people of Tamil Nadu’. Further making matters more complicated and humorous the complainant has stated that by sitting cross legged on the dais where the chief minister was also seated, she had behaved disrespectfully.
