Movie name: Sarkar Raj

Few days Back I watched the movie Sarkar Raj but I was not able to write about it since then. Sarkar Raj as the original Sarkar is power packed. But if you ask me to rate, I will rate the Sarkar as better. However, this does not mean that Sarkar Raj is not good. I have enjoyed watching this and feel this is a very well made movie. In Sarkar Raj the conspiracy masks in a power plant. There was a proposal to make a power plant in Maharashtra by a foreign power company. Their survey found a village Thakurwadi is the best location. As Sarkar is all powerful in the state, the CM come to him with proposal and Sarkar was dead against the project as this will cause large displacement of people. But the younger sarkar( shankar Nagre or Abhishek) understood that power generation could open new vistas for the state and its people. After convincing his father, he went on to convince the villagers. There in Thakurwadi village a farmer leader by name Sanjay Somji was inciting the people against the project and Shankar Nagre.
The younger sarkar thought there might be some people to make money from this project but he never discovered that it was a ploy to finish the era of sarkar. While watching the movie you will not even imagine that a Rao shaab will hatch a conspiracy to install his grand son as the new leader of Maharashtra. He used everybody as pawn starting from power broker Hassan Qazi, deputy CM, business man kantilal Vora, the owner of the foreign power company (Anita Rajan – Aishwaroya’s father) and even Sarkar’s right hand man Chander. Sarkar Raj is emotive in that the younger sarkar’s pregnant wife will be killed in a bomb blast and ultimately Shankar Nagre himself fell prey to the conspiracy. The movie is cold but at the same time very intense. It is not the usual load hindi movie. The movie is worth to watch. I will not spoil the drama and your thrill by revealing everything now.
Dont go by the reviews by people like Raja Sen on rediff. I wonder in what state of mind he wrote that review.
Check the official website: http://www.sarkarrajthefilm.com/
Now you may wonder why the makers of the movie did not choose “www.sarkarraj.com” for the movie. Well, that domain has been grabbed by some one who probably wanted to make money by Bargaining with Ram Gopal Varma. But cleaver RGV just changed the domain name little bit. That person may be biting dust now by putting some reviews from websites and some blended ads.
Sarkar Raj is running at various multiplexs in Bangalore and theatres like Rex.
