Overall Medal Tally at 2008 Beijing Olympic Games

Olympic games 2008 at Beijing is nearing the end of the schecule. The medal tally can be used to infer who is comming victorious. This time Olympic games have thrown quite a surpirses too. For India, it has opened the gates of gold medal after a dry run of 28 years. I think they won more medals than any other past events. Along with one gold medal by Abhinav Bindra, India also won 2 bronze medals. With this India is placed at 51st position in the overall medal tally as of now.
