India’s first car portal carazoo.com launched

August 23, 2007 – 2:11 pm

The New Indian Express reported that the process of buying and selling cars could now be easy with the launch of the country’s first car portal, carazoo.com by Logix Microsystems Ltd. The portal has been prompted by the company’s izmocars products and services in the US and will cater to the requirements of the car buyers and sellers, car manufacturers, dealers, financiers and accesories suppliers.

The company claims that the portal would offer Indian buyers the same facilities being provided to the users in the US. They claimed they will offer 78 models for buyers to choose from and secondhand cars will also be displayed. Carazoo will offer interactive animations for each car to enable a touch and feel experience to the user. Buyers can take a car for virtual spin, paint it in different colours from the available palette and experience a 360 degree interior and exterior view. Car buyers can ask for individual prices, technical specifications and features, tools to compare different cars, e-brochures, car reviews, financing and insurance tips. The portal’s database will provide dealer information to enable a browser to select an outlet. The portal allows the user to get a price quote by filling up a form and a free test drive.
