Reliance Digital Launched in Bangalore Today

Reliance Retail launched another format of their retail venture called Reliance Digital in Bangalore today. As the name digital suggests this store features all electronics goods and gadgets. This is the 3rd store opened after Delhi and Mumbai. It claimed to feature over 4000 prodcuts and over 150 brands. Also, looks like they will offer easy and attractive finance options. Btw, the pricing seems to quite low from the market. So check it is as good as Big Bazaar or better than that.

Update(16/01/2008): Recently, I visited the stores. You may note that both Time Out and digital are in the same building on the ground floor and first floor respectively. By the look of the building looks like Reliance may open some other formats of their retail venture shortly. Reliance Time Out is an excellent place with great collection of books. You may also find dvds, games, other related products. They provide a small place for Kids which let them play game guided by attendents thereby allowing parents to check things freely.

Reliance Digital have a huge collection of electronic products starting from camera to laptop. But price differences are not much as they claimed in the newspaper. However, products are cheaper like MMC cards, SD cards or flash memory.
