Republic Day Flower Show at Lalbagh, 2009

January 23, 2009 – 1:56 pm

Yesterday I visited the annual flower show at Lalbagh, Bangalore. Probably, this is my third year to the flower show and this year it looked like the feel and look of the flower show remains almost same year after year. The glass house where the flower show is typically exhibited has a set design. The corners are filled with flowers every years and the globe remains at the center. Apart from little tweaking here and there, it remains by and large same. This year there were a Indoneasian art depicting Ganesh and elephants made of Banana leaves.

During this time the entry fees shoots up to Rs 30 during weekdays and Rs 40 during Holidays from Rs 10. So if they are charging more specifically for this then they should put on display little more eye catching. Alteast a change in design. Check a few pictures I have taken at the Republic day flowers show at lalbagh.
