Serial Blast In Jaipur
May 14, 2008 – 3:33 am
Terror struck again in India and this time in a non metro. The serial blast has reported to have killed 80 people and injured more than 150 people. Jaipur, capital of the Indian state of Rajasthan is a very popular tourist destination both with the national and international tourist. The blasts took place in some of the popular market places like Tripolia Bazar, Johari Bazar, Manas Chowk, Badi Choupal and Choti Choupal. Check the images of the destruction left behind. All the blasts took place in between 7.15 pm to 7.30 pm. Bomb blasts has become almost regular feature in India and may be we have developed immune to it. As it keeps on occurring and not sure what our government does except doling out compensation. Few statistics of recent bomb blasts in India.
The idea of the terror organizations are well understandable who are dancing to the tune of pakistan. They are looking to develop fear in the pysche of the average Indian people. When such mayhem takes place in popular market places where people need to go often, is disturbing. They are also trying to create communial tension by targeting mosques and temples. In this case the devotees of the hanuman temple near the Tripolia Bazaar has been targeted. I think our government should take sou moto notice of this acts and should get ready to take tough actions on the lines of Israel after the 1972 Munich Olympic massacare. Has life become so cheap in our country that blood flows like water! Anybody can get into our country and commit mass murder!
It is election time in many parts of India and may be we should ask what is being done for our security.
