Solar Eclipse On 15th January 2010

With the advent of a new you will be able to see another celestial show in the form of annular solar eclipse. There are three type of solar eclipse – partial, total and annular. Partial is one where only a part of the sun is not visible as moon covers it. Total eclipse is when the who sun is covered by moon over a range of areas on Earth. In annular solar eclipse you can see the sun only as a ring at the circumference of the moon. The last annular solar eclipse visible in Bangalore was way back in 1955. The eclipse will start from Africa and then it will travel through Indian ocean, India, Sri lanka, Mayanmar and end in China.
