The faculty of Engineering and Technology, Jadavpur University, Kolkata; Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah, MANIT, Bhopal, VNIT, Nagpur; SVNIT, Surat, NIT, Kurukshetra; NIT, Kozhikode; Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai University; College of Engineering, Thiruvanathapuram and NIT, Jamshedpur did not responded to this survery, however they were in the Top 35 list in 2007. Many of this institutes would have definitely been on the Top 35 list. Not sure what the PR depertment of these colleges were doing. You can take this as the list of best engineering colleges in India along with the few names below.

@ Abhishek Singh – NIT Bhopal has not replied to Outlook survey. Hence, not in the list. NIT Nagpur may not have made it to the list.

how cusat come to this list although this collage doesnt participate in any ranking …..any survey…

i think that cusat ranking should between 15 as cusat is among the iit reputation universities.no doubt cusat is the best and i am proud to be a cusatian.

hilarious… CET is de best engg coll in Kerala… well maybe NIT-C is a competition…. well cusat nowhere near…. i chose CET above CUSAT and one f de best decisions i made… de frnz i’ve in cusat are idiots.. even idiots get into CUSAT!!!

Well ………….i think that NIT Silchar should have been among the TOP 20 govt. Engg. institutes……..NIT-Silchar was 2nd best in placement among the NITs during 2007-2008 session……..
