Tour of shravanavelegola, belur and helebidu

My tour of the above three places was a great one. I was pretty bored here and for sometime was planning hard to go out of town for a break. I have taken the descision of going alone , which was a good one. It was on one sunday –the date I cannot remember now. I got up early and reached the KSTDC Badami house office near corporation, flashed my booked ticket and was ready to board the bus. I must say the bus was a good one and I had the previlage of enjoying the two seats. I will never forget the walking the steps to the top of the hill may be around 600 steps plus. Right on top there is a giant monolithic statue of jains. Then to belur and helebeidu. The star temples built by the hoysalas was an example of magnificient art. I throughlly enjoyed the day. I am of the view now it will be a wise idea if one goes out for tour alone which gives a ample oppurtunity to introspect. On the way back they played a movie. On the bus there were three chicks who were putting a eye on me…lol On the way back one thing was bothering me was the AC nob was right on the top of my head . The guys on the front and back seat along with me were on constant alert to move away the direction of the AC nob. I reached Bangalore by 9pm in the night. Guys a great one….for rs 500 you can also have a great……..so go ahead! cheers!!
