Uniform for Women Employess in Bar and Restaurants in Bangalore
June 26, 2009 – 2:22 am
Following on my earlier article Women in Bar and Restaurants we have now mode updates, how your next visit to a Bar and restaurant may look like. Following sting by one of the city’s prominent newpaper, Bangalore police is trying to bring code which bar and restaurant employing womens will have to abide by. So of the proposals are as follows:
1. Proper uniform for women employes
2. CCTV to be installed mandatorily
3. Women employes will not be allowed revealing cloths, no dancing of any kind, they cannot speak to the customer ( what they will use sign language, lol!), no phone number exchange.
4. No showing of money, separate tip box to be maintained
5. ID card for people working in bars and cannot change their women employee requently
6. No eployment below 18 years of age
Looks like cops have left no time in taking the initiative. And which police station – one of the most lucrative in terms of mamool (bribe). During tthis police station’s jurisdiction there are many bars and restuarants. Some of the bars have already given uniforms to their women employees as per upperpet police guidelines.

Check a few pictures of bartenders, if such were the case here, then there would been riot over this. You have seen here two types of pictures, whats your take?
