Vodafone Pug Ad Under Threat!

Looks like the cute and loveable Vodafone ad performed by the lovely pug is under threat. Recently, the Animal Welfare Board of India accused the Mobile service provider Vodafone of making the Pug(dog) work very hard during the shoots which is tantamount to cruelty. The AWBI has sent a notice in this regard. Read more ……

The cute male pug named Rocky is indeed the hero of the ad and cheers up the mood everytime one watches the ad. Also, one need to see that the ad also has been made with lots of care and it shows. This is continuing from Hutch days(before vodafore bought Hutch). The ad has been made by Bangalore based Nirvana Films. If they have maintained all the necessary care of the pug and the pug is in healthy condition then it should be fine. I think the ads should continue. Untill and unless any harm is being caused to pug, then there should not be any hue and cry over this.

Let me know what the readers think. Please put your comments. Below are a few videos of the ad.

  2. what a load of crap - nothing but a publicity stunt by a beleaguered set of people who have nothing better to do with their time…we’ve all seen the ad - if that’s cruelty, then I am George Bush :)
